MANUAL:

The MULTI TRACKER satellite signal meter can provide much more information about your satellite system. To access the expanded menu area, press the “ON / MENU” button. If the unit is off press the “ON / MENU” button to turn the unit on and then the “ON / MENU” to access the menu. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to scroll the cursor > up and down the menu. |

VIEW SIGNAL:
This is the screen you will see when you first turn on the MULTI TRACKER satellite signal meter. These bars indicate the general signal strength, voltage and current draw in mA of all connected devices. If desired, you can look at only one LNB by pressing the“UP” button. Press the “UP” button again to look at the second LNB, press of the “UP” button takes you back to both LNBs. |

RECEIVER VIEW:
Displays the voltage provided by the satellite receiver or battery. Indicates the total current draw in mAof all connected components. Also indicates if a 22kHz tone is being sent by a DirecTV® receiver. These readings verify the receiver operation. Also, using the receiver for power, you can measure voltage at the receiver and then at the end of the coax, this will help calculate the voltage loss through the coax cable. DishNetwork port selections (from the receiver) are detected and listed at the bottom of the screen. This information applies to the older DishNetwork switches only. |

22 kHz MODE:
The MULTI TRACKER satellite signal meter has a built-in 22Khz tone generator, which can be activated by this function. This allows you to control many typical switches such as the DTV Slimline LNB. For example, you can look at the 119° satellite (if the 22KHZ tone is activated) on the top graph and 101° on the bottom bar graph simultaneously. Please note the 22 kHz commands can only be activated on the TOP LNB (LNB1) connection (22K) LNB1

13/18V:
With the MULTI TRACKER you can select 18vDC as the output voltage sent from the battery to the LNBF. Be very frugal when selecting this higher voltage as the circuitry demands a lot more battery power. If the demand on the battery is high, the voltage will AUTOMATICALLY drop back to 13V. Note, you can only select this option when the satellite receiver is not connected. |

NEW DISH CTRL:
The NEWDISH CTRL feature allows you to control the DishPro switches. Specifically, Port 1, 2 and 3 on the DP34, or Port 1 and 2 on the DP21 can be selected as needed. Note that only the TOP LNB1 connection LNB on the MULTI TRACKER satellite meter sends the switching commands. The BOTTOM LNB2 port LNB can only “look” at Port #1 of either switch. This allows you to look at Port 1 on the BOTTOM bar and Port 2 or Port 3 (DP34) on the TOP bar. |

ATTEN:
This attenuates (reduces) both the signal meter readings to lower numbers. Handy if the bar graph is maxed out. Note that the ‘A’ text is now displayed. To turn this feature off, go back to >ATTEN and select OFF. |

SETUP:
MAXHOLD: This function superimposes a small bar at the end of the bar graph (signal strength) which keeps track of the maximum signal received. This can be turned on or off as needed. Your choice will remain in the memory.

LCD-CONTRAST: To adjust the LCD Contrast just scroll down to “DARKER” or “LIGHTER”, then press the “ON / MENU” button repeatedly to darken or lighten the display. Scroll back up to “EXIT” and press the “ON / MENU” button to save your selection in the memory.

AUTO OFF This sets the automatic timer to turn the MULTI TRACKER satellite signal meter off when the battery is used for power. Scroll down to the setting you prefer and press the “ON / MENU” button to save the time you selected in the memory. |

The DIRECTV Slim Line SWM (1 Output) LNB has a built-in Multiswitch. This LNB requires a power supply (PI-21). which is provided with your Slim Line SWM satellite system This power supply is required in conjunction with a ALS-1 switch. The Power supply must be connected to the ASL-1 switch, SWM LNB and then to the MULTI TRACKER satellite meter.
SWM LNB and then to the MULTI TRACKER satellite meter. |
Requirements: |
- Multi Tracker Meter
- ALS-1 Switch
- Power Supply (PI-21)
- Coax Jumper Cable
This ASL-1 switch has a “DC Power IN” input that will power the SWM LNB when connected to the Power supply. The MULTI TRACKER meter does not have sufficient power to power the SWM LNB.
*The ASL-1 is sold separately. |

Power supply (PI-21) for the SWM LNB .
This is the power supply that comes with the SWM Satellite system.
*The Power supply (PI-21) is sold separately. |

The MULTI TRACKER Satellite Meter will give you a reading of 119° when connected to the ASL-1 switch on the “119 WL Skew” port and it will give you a 101° reading when connected to the “101° WL Alignment” port of the SL-1 switch. You can connect both lines to get a dual reading for 119° and 101° at the same time.
Make sure the 119WL ASL-1 port is connected to the “Top” LNB1 Port and the 101 WL Alignment is connected to the “Bottom” LNB2 port.
Note: The Signal reading on the MULTI TRACKER does not equal the same signal reading on your satellite receiver. Example a 60% signal reading on the MUITI TRACKER may be a 90% on your
Satellite receiver. |

The MULTI TRACKER Satellite Meter is also compatible with DishNetwork 110° and 119° satellites. This is an illustration using the DP21 Switch.
Selected Port (1 or 2) in the main Menu (*New Dish CTRL) Use “TOP”LNB1 connection only.
Note: The receiver needs to be connected to the Satellite Meter for Dish Network satellite dishes. |

- Connecting the DP or DishPro LNB to the MULTI TRACKER Satellite Meter.

The MULTI TRACKER Satellite Meter can be powered by a Satellite Receiver to by pass the internal battery. It can also be used if the MULTI TRACKER battery is running low.
Note: When the receiver is used for power, you will need to set the MULTI TRACKER to 22KHz mode in the “OFF” position. This will interrupt the switching commands form the receiver to the LNB.

For the DishPro Plus systems you will need to use the Dish Network receiver for powering of the LNB during alignment. |

Because of the amount of current that the DP34 and its components draw it is recommended to use a DP (Dish Network) receiver to power the DP34 switch. (this connection needs to be done first). A Second receiver can be used to power the MULTI TRACKER Satellite meter.
Port 1 on the DP34 Switch will be shown on the “BOTTOM”LNB2 bar of the MULTI TRACKER. The “TOP”LNB1 bar is controllable and
can look at any of the three ports by making a port selection in the MULTI TRACKER menu under “NEWDISH CTRL” The port selection signal from the MULTI TRACKER to the switch is only sent when you initially select Port 1 or Port 2 or Port 3 with the arrowhead and press the “ON/MENU” button. Thereafter, if you power down the switch, or make any other changes, you may need to re-select the desired port in the menu and press the “ON/MENU” button again. |
